3 Tips for Packing Fragile Items

We know how stressful it can be to ship fragile items. From doubting yourself whether you have packed it securely enough to having it arrive safe and sound to its destination. Here are 3 tips for packing fragile items so you can get a peace of mind:

1) Choose the right packaging: Make sure that you are using a sturdy box that is in good condition – that means no punctures, tear, rips, or corner damages. If you decide to ship your goods in a used box, make sure to remove any labels that may still be on it. Also, make note, that if you decide to add a fragile sticker on your packaging, a special handling fee may be applied.

2) Protect your goods: Make sure that your items are not moving around inside the box. To prevent this, make sure to cushion your goods properly. For extra protection, each item should be wrapped individually with at least two to three inches of cushioning and placed at least two inches away from the walls of the box. Bubble wraps, stretch films, and packing peanuts are also great to add protection for those extra fragile items. Click here for even more tips on how to pack like an expert!
